Cant get avatar to load

Trying to get a pic of my new venture to use as avatar. But it keeps failing. Maybe file is too big. Can someone tell me how to make smaller to meet your limits?

Shrink it down

Yep, probably have to make it smaller. Use MS Paint to chop to just the part you want, 140x140 pixels max.

Could use paint.net to do it as well, just open a new file 140x140, paste your image in, and shrink!
