Can't see speedo in the daytime.

My speedo lights up good at night and is easy to see but being down at the end of a dark tunnel makes it hard to see in the daytime with sunglasses on and turning the lights on don't help any. I didn't really notice it at first but now that school is back in session and there are 15MPH speed zones everywhere it's starting to bug me. Has anyone come up with a way to make it easier to see?

Not sure that will help much because it accomplishes the same thing that turning on your lights would but that combined with a LED dash light conversion and you might be cooking.

No, that won't help any since you can't see the lighting in the daytime. Holding a flashlight above the wheel so it shines down on the speedo makes it pretty easy to see but it's hard to drive that way. I was thinking of maybe taking a 1 watt LED and mounting it above the dash to light it up but haven't found a good place to mount it.

Is your dimmer rheostat knob cranked up?
