Just ran 500 rounds of JHP S&W through my service weapon P229DAK today, about half that yesterday. Zero malfunctions as always.
Carrying Piece, suggestions?

Gotta love Sig! I've never had a FTF in any of mine. SRT makes quick follow ups, all of mine are DA/SA. Are you required to have DAK as your duty weapon? and do you shoot the 357 sig and 40 from yours? the 357sig round is one of my favorites

Yes DAK models are required and its a .40

I went from using a XD40 sub to a Ruger LCP as my carry weapon a few years ago and have not looked back. I do not worry about "stopping power" of the smaller caliber round. A 90 grain hollowpoint self defense round to the chest and one will not be laughing that it is only a .380. That said, I may be grabbing an LC9 soon to replace it as the size is similar and the rounds are easier to come by.
