Harness that is included in the bundle I posted above and some settings that I unlocked in the device , does all... I have a lot of videos done on that.
does this mean that install instructions or pinouts do not come with the unit?

[MENTION=135175]jhguth[/MENTION] - Mine did not. It was just the unit and wiring as shown in my fist post from today. Maybe this stuff is supposed to be straight forward but when I have connections that are not 1:1 I get worried. [emoji2375]
[MENTION=296608]Smerdinian[/MENTION] - did you use all three USB connections for the new unit? Where did you route them so you could still close up everything after the install was finished?
Also - I don’t have Facebook and refuse to ever create an account.

Doesn’t come with any kind of instructions, that’s why I suffered for 1 weeks and did all the videos for you guys ...

Not every plug is going to be used, remember, you’re not connecting back the XM. There will be some free connections

Got it. Can you send a pic of where you have it or how you access it? Also where did you mount your GPS? I think I’m ready to buckle everything back up.
I’m an Apple guy and have a lot to learn on this unit. I was able to get the WiFi setup, Bluetooth connected for my phone (although it still shows some Chinese writing when I go to the Bluetooth app under my phone), and made sure the backup camera worked.

Gps I stuck it up, upside down , on top of the radio, in the middle of the trim.
You should NOT see Chinese anywhere. Change the language to English. All...

So I am very interested in this unit it looks great, but a couple of unanswered questions still.....will my factory XM id work? Or can I only get XM if I’m parked somewhere I can get a WIFI signal? How is the am/fm quality, will it show song playing etc.? Each video shows the user “at home connected to their WIFI” I assume everything work without WIFI? I assume everything also works off my Verizon connection through my phone when it is paired via Bluetooth? There was a mention of the unit getting hot as no fan, I’ve always thought heat to be an enemy of electronics, any long term concern for this and longevity of unit? Lastly, how about the color match of the silver? Read somewhere matte black and silver/gray is available now but a “silver” would be coming, is that supposed to match better to stock dash color?
Each time I go online the order selection changes......getting a bit confusing to be honest.......I’m an iPhone user so assume I order the “default with CarPlay” option? Thank you in advance

My thoughts on a scale of 1-10 (10 worst/hardest):
Taking off panel and removing OEM unit - 2
Moving over hazard switch, AC vents, AC vent blowing adjustor - 4 - only because it took me forever to figure out how to remove the AC vents from the OEM unit; damn clips would not play nice.
Connecting OEM wiring to new unit - 9 - really wish they would include instructions that called out where things should go.
Overall look and feel of unit - 4.5 - like I said, I’m an Apple guy, and have a lot to learn with Android. I am surprised at how responsive the unit is after I select an option. I’m very disappointed in the brightness and the glare from the unit. I cant see crap.
A few pictures. Please don’t mind the lack of everything being put back together. That will happen once I’m comfortable with everything working as it should. I need to test out GPS and see what works and doesn’t work when I’m not on the driveway and connected to WiFi.

This is how it currently looks. I’m not sure what could cause it to be this poorly lit. All the connections connected to one another and snapped in. I have two connectors from the new unit not connected to anything. I have two OEM connectors not connected to anything - one from near the top by the clock and another out of the middle. They have the same looking connection.

The white connector wrapped in the white foam that is between the 2 air vents is for your factory GPS antenna.
