Casper421's Build/Picture thread

So did u nut up and order a body lift then?

Not yet, still deciding on the Toytec or RB. Probably gonna order tomorrow or the next. How was installing the Toytec? Did you install the steering spacer?

My LR uca's are sitting at my PO box waiting for me to install them!

No steering spacer, it was super easy.

Nice on the uca's.... I get my bajarack tmrw!

Dude I can't wait to put it on. I just can't decide what accessories to add to it first, the spare tire mount, axe and shovel mount or what....

Since your mpg's suck, I'd go with the tire first. then axe/shovel followed by hil-lift. But you might use the axe or shovel before your spare in your line of work! ;):

Ive finally collected enough to have a mod day! My body lift should be here tomorrow so next week should be pretty busy.

lol I have that same stuff! Well except the mid skid... and my front says º ' "
didn't know they said 4PLUS on those, thought it just had the // \\

Hope you have plenty of paint & primer!

Your picture provides a great opportunity to show where I was worried about rubbing.

The red circled corner tucks into the green circled notch and almost rubs. I have had a few opportunities to flex & somewhat rapidly cycle the suspension and so far so good with no trimming.

Funny, i just sent you a PM about this! Im doing a test fit before i paint. I just screwed in the first lca skid and they are HEAVY! Giving my sholder a quick break, the jack helps but still, damn!

Funny, the LCA skids didn't bother me much (I bare handed it too, no jack) but I thought I was gonna tear something the one time I installed the front skid with no jack. I just got one bolt started then let the LCA skid hang while I put the other two in though.

4+ makes the skids now. They changed a little, I believe they are a little wider than your version. I got 2 cans of each, I hope that's enough.

I removed my front swaybar and factory skids but found out that I was sent an FJ transmission skid but will send it back. I also have to cut an inch from the lca skids so they fit with the engine skid. My buddy will cut it next week. Project on hold...

Very nice Runner! Good to see you actually wheeling it too!!! I don't ever see newer gen rigs on the trail and from your pics it seems your whole group run bad ass newer rigs! One day I want to have one with some ponies but for now I'm running a 94 runner with a tired 4 banger :( Check it out if you like it's in the first gen thread under "My 94 Runna!" it's a decent little build.

Yours is SAWEET! Keep up the good work.

It turns out i was sent a transmission skid plate for the V6, not for my V8. So that was sent back and man-a-fre sent me the right plate, powder coated for free! I painted and installed the engine skid today and it looks awesome! The trans skid plate should be here in a few days, and that will be an easy install. Theyre super beefy and i cant wait to test them out!

Thanks dude! Ill definitely check out your build. Stay tuned, theres plenty of parts in the shed that are just waiting to be installed.

Hey! I didn't know that you had the same skids! Pretty beefy, huh? Yours look great! Now I'm anxious to install mine!!

Yeah, i got them a couple weeks back but I've been out of town or too busy to paint and install, and man-a-fre sent me the v6 trans plate. I like how it came out. Ill have the matching trans skid in a few days. Can't wait to see yours finished, the black should look sweet!

Installed my new adjustable rear links courtesy of Medic83 over on 120.
