Thanks Matt! Yeah, I realized this year that I definitely take where I live for granted, that's why I've changed my ways. I try to wheel, mtn bike, surf or just take pics every available second I have. Btw, this trail is on the backside of the resort I work at, about 2 miles from my office. :cheers:

Still trying to get that weekend off! Tough mudder is at Northstar that weekend and I will probably have to work it. Haven't checked TW in a while, are you camping Saturday night? I'd love to make it!

Figured out my front end squeak today: the top shock bushings were totally shot so the shock couldnt be tightened enough and were loose. They were replaced and im ready for the trail ride planned for the 23rd to Deer Valley that I can't wait for!!

Yup, this website will definitely make you spend a lot of cash! I haven't even scratched the surface but time will tell where or if I stop. The GF wants me to buy an older pu or 4runner and make that my trail rig. I will, eventually and keep the 4runner for easy/moderate trails and camping.

Don't think about the money, do it right the first time!

That's how a trail rig should be! You already have all your tools, jack and spare in place and ready to roll! I wish the 1st gen roll bar would fit in mine!

nah im just too lazy to take it out and put it back everytime i go wheeling so i just leave it there lol

i rather have a cargo box like this than the roll bar, way better for storage than to hang everything on the roll bar

Just make one too your needs! I was thinking of making some custom drawers but then would have to make a sleeping platform and then the project continues and next thing I know I don't have any cargo space. We'll see, maybe a built in inverter and compressor?

Awesome pictures...those first 4 are especially nice. I am extremely jealous of the scenery you guys have in your "back yards." Seeing the action shots makes me want to invest in some sliders+skids and hit the trails. I really like the look of those BAMF LCA skids, may have to pick me up a set if I ever start adding the armor. Did you have to drill any for them them? It seems like I remember reading that a few holes had to be enlarged but not 100% sure.

Thanks! It is hard to beat living in the Sierras! You do have to drill out an already existing hole in the lca but its quick and easy, especially if you have access too air tools.

I noticed today that my BAMF lca skid got hit pretty hard on the trail and held up perfectly:

Nope. Took it off at the beginning of summer and will never put it back on!
