So I took a road trip down to LA two weeks ago and then a camping trip to Ft. Bragg with some friends last week. About 1850 total miles in both trips and no issues whatsoever. During the 1200 mile road trip to LA I was able to averaged 17.15mpg! Got great mpgs heading to Ft. Bragg but the return trip was an interesting one, ill explain later. Onto the pics...

My buddy Mike with the subi had a rough vacation. On the 2nd day of our 7 day camping trip his clutch shit the bed and barely made it back to the campsite. A few days later he locks his keys in his car. I volunteered to tow his car back to town instead of giving a couple grand to a tow truck driver. So they rented a car trailer from U-Haul for $138!! Driving completely across California on hwy 20 towing about 5600lbs of trailer, car, gear, and dogs was a fun experience. Plus it started pouring east of Marysville which made the 5k foot elevation climb awesome! The superflex coils didn't like all that weight:
Ready for the 290 mile journey to drop it off in Reno.
Made it back to Truckee too drop off the dogs, that rode in the subi, and all their crap.

Yup, in less than a year. I rushed the paint job last summer, I'm taking my time this go around.

Awesome. Ive considered making the switch myself but wasnt ure on the gains...granted ive done little to no research on them so that could be the issue. Ha. Any noteable differences after your ride?
