catback exhaust ?

Since I am thinking in the next year to go with a 3.4L swap I am looking into a cat back exhaust system and maybe a high flow cat or omitting the cat since I don't have to pass emissions here. Anyone know of a bolt on deal without custom fabbing something? I have a slight exhaust leak so it would be good to clear that up to. I am trying to validate upgrades when I need to replace things anyway. Thanks as always this forum is very helpful.

I understand the Gibson full exhaust set up works good for the T4Rs.

If you want you can go to your local auto parts store and piece together an exhaust system. That's what I did and I have under $100 in everything for my exhaust including the muffler and it sounds really good :thumb3:

I am thinking of going to my buddy's shop and using his tube bender and welding equipment. I want it to be stainless weld so it doesn't quit. I was hoping someone made a bolt on deal though to save time. I am also going to design and build some armor for it. He has a 14 foot Plasma and water jet so it should be pretty straight forward to design it in Mylar and fit it up and then just cut it out and weld it. I am thinking of using the Zinc flaming booth to so it won't rust and then using the epoxy paint over it.

Custom designs IMO are the best. Yeah it may take a little more time and a little more work but in the end it's exactly how you want it
