Yes and no. I've had both and now I have a third option.
I had the tray in my 2012. In my 2016 I didn't have the tray and loved the extra space. After 6mo, I added an antman style cargo box that is level with the rear seats folded down. Having the level floor with a small 4" cargo box has been wondrous - sure you lose the height between cargo to roof, but you have space for small things in the box and then you have a level floor to slide boxes all the way back to over the rear seats. The last / greatest benefit is a sleeping space with rear seat bottoms removed.
Where/how do you find this information?
Your dealership has this information, they can see everything even if unallocated

Looks awesome! As a side note are those gladiator garage cabinets? I was looking to install some similar to those.
How bad was your experience at Hendrick? I bought an XP there last month and had an awful experience with sales and finance and will not recommend them to anyone. Nice looking TRD Pro though. Congrats.

I have gone with other brands in the past, however, I feel Gladiator gives the best bang for the buck.
the_fanta: I dealt with the sales manager ASH mostly. I also dealt with sales manager Steven Griffin.
Everyone there was fantastic! I purchased the TRD Pro at Sticker with no added +++
I have lots of friends in the car business and generally buy the majority of my cars from Allen Boyd.
Allen is a longtime friend and owns all of the Crossroads dealerships. Allen, unfortunately, doesn't own a Toyota store at this time:-(

That's ridiculous. It is an option. My first build sheet had pretty much every option on it, but the car hadn't left Japan yet. I told them to take ALL of it off. And they did.
Got my VIN today. Came with sliding cargo tray and the typical regional garbage. God bless SoutheastToyota, about a grand of their voodoo tacked on. Couple hundred dollars of USB charging posts and cables as well "TOYOGAURD", a couple free oil changes and "INTERIOR/EXTERIOR PROTECTANT".
Can pull all of it off aside from the cargo tray unfortunately.

I am really loving the cavalry blue. A sunroof is a must have for me. Anyone get a dealer installed after market sunroof?
