Cavalry Blue 2018 TRD PRO Sighted

I am really loving the cavalry blue. A sunroof is a must have for me. Anyone get a dealer installed after market sunroof?

Aftermarket sun roofs are a joke. Dealer-installed or otherwise.

Coming into sight!

My dealer just called and said my Cavalry Blue 4Runner will arrive in the middle of October.
Christmas in October!

Important note. The color, much like quicksand, does not photograph particularly well. It looks far better in person. There's a subtle undertone and softness that doesn't come through in pictures for some reason.

I've always thought that there should be a shade of this blue for the Runner. Seen it for the RAV4. The Highlander. The FJ. Even the Corolla. Have seen it on Subarus. The Ford Focus. Glad to see the 4Runner finally get this color (even if it is only offered for the 1%-ers haha).

It is more ubiquitous than my quicksand was no doubt.

I very nearly ordered this color on an m3 a couple years ago and bailed last minute to silverstone metallic. Then I went to one of those BMW ultimate drive events for a discount voucher and saw the blue sitting there. I had a touch of regret so fun to fill the void with this lol

Saw my first cavalry blue pro yesterday. I was headed to the hardware store and one pulled out behind me. Still had dealer plates on. I thought the color looked great. The owner got right off my back bumper. Maybe he was proud of joining the 4Runner world and wanted me to know about it?
