Cavalry Blue 2018 TRD PRO Sighted

BwahahahahahahahahAhha Toyota Autonation in Denver just had the audacity to imply a CB TRDP would command a $10k Market Rate adjustment. Lol told him to get bent.

Groove in Denver just recently had their 2017s still listed with a $10k up charge. I got my 2017 white one at Autonation right when the new 2018s started coming and they knocked the "market adjustment" down. I still paid extra and I think you will see this more and more in the future on the limited production and high market interest cars from all manufacturers. I remember the Ford RS was going $10k over MSRP as well, and the consumers were happy to pay it. That said, the 3rd color option, not black or white, seems to carry the highest upcharge of all.

Now we are starting to get good pics of the CB paint, I think it's a winner.

First few pics I saw were meh, I'm betting it's another home run with regards to color for Toyota.

I would buy one in a second.

Yeah I see Groove has TEPs (TRD OR-P) for $1200 under MSRP and all the TRD-Pros at $10k over.

Yep, it's all a matter of want, intention, and use. I wanted an ultimate style Off-Road package that I would not need to do anything to, because I suck at car work and tend to cause more harm than good, and I intend to make this last 20+ years as my primary vehicle. So to me, I am happy to pay the mark up. All up to the individual.

Yep, it's all a matter of want, intention, and use. thinking the same , last few years the longest I've kept a car was 4 years. Wife doesn't want me to purchase another harley. I've been wanting a crew cab truck tundra or a suv. We purchased a 17 sr5 4runner premium and blacked it out besides the roof rack. We both like the 4runner and both hardly drive much roughly 10 miles day to from work so if we keep the car long term we are looking at about 50k miles in 4-5 years if that.
I'm considering a 18 trd pro calvary blue at 44k OTD, about 3k under msrp. :bluejump: price is pretty solid for the TRD pro. I question myself do I really want another 4runner, how long will I keep it, right color, and will I sell it in a few years for something else. (new ford bronco). Color is okay to, and if I wanted to sell in a few years I figure the residual value will be solid.

I've kept my FJ since 2008, and just gave it to my son, so I do know that I will have this for at least 10 years. Also, something to consider, my FJ was at 9 years with 105k miles. I do not have to drive that far for work so my factors are more favorable, etc.

That's awesome. I am hoping to hand my 4runner to my son and hopefully keep the FJ running as long as possible as the off-road toy.

I've kept my FJ since 2008, and just gave it to my son, so I do know that I will have this for at least 10 years.

I am glad my wife got one of the last Cement 4runners in August. We had deposit on an 18 but a Cement popped up and we snagged it.

Saw an 18 on the freeway a guy had just picked up last week and something was off about it, the color is way different (I know they are different codes) than my 14TTUE.

I thought the cavalry would be bit closer to the heritage. I think the other issue is there is simply too much blue with no black to break it up whereas the cement needs no black to break it up.

Either way the blue is better than the old TRD silver, red, orange and the quicksand IMO.
