CB ant. mount

Are you still making ones like the prototype with an extra hole for "bottom loaded" antennas for grounding (I think that's what it's called)?

He probably plasti-dipped it :)
Also, you shouldnt have to prep it much other than hitting it with some fast evaporating thinner (acetone, denatured alcohol) fast to clean it because drifter is shipping them with primer.

These are prepped and primed with duplicolor etching primer. All you need to do is scuff with red scotch brite pad, dampen lent free rag with denatured alcohol wipe lightly then paint. Or prime and paint.

This should work just fine also.

Very happy yes thank you. Got mine yesterday. Probably won't be installing it for a few months (after winter and I get an antenna). But I have it and it's ready to go.

Sorry guys, haven't been on much since the internets down at my house. I've resorted to using my iphone.

I used self etching primer, krylon flat black, and then krylon flat clear.

I have not plastidipped any metal on my truck because it mimics the look of a plastic (lol name implied) so I just stick to the plastics. To each his own, though.

I get my krylon and paints from walmart. I get self etching primer and plastidip from home depot.

Also, the vent I mentioned is hiding behind the drivers side rear bumper end.

just got mine yetserday, nice welding and very smooth corners, looks good!

im piecing together a cb setup so it may take a bit for me too to get pictures plus this weather blows.
