CB Antenna mount

I use a magnetic mount just behind the sunroof. It gets into the trees sometimes but the roof makes a great ground plane.

Uniden 520 (or a model of similar size) in the ashtray and a rear hatch antenna mount.

what mount do you have? That's what I'm looking for and it looks there are only 2 companies that make them for $50-60

I make the original Drifter Mount, and SRQ (True North) sells the other one. Mine are $55 shipped for 1 or $100 for 2.

I think that’s basically it. The couple that are on the market for below the tail light, a universal hatch mount or a universal magnetic mount. Or a custom made one, but if you think the $50-$60 is overpriced you aren’t going to like the cost of having a custom one made.

I mounted a custom one off above my tail light because I liked the location and was up for a challenge, but I also had the means to do so. It would have saved me hours of personal time and energy to just buy one already available off the shelf. Where exactly do you intend on mounting it? That’s going to make things a lot easier to figure out what’s available for your application.

Here are some pictures of one installed. It only requires you to remove 2 screws, and re-install.

[MENTION=177354]HappyHooligan[/MENTION] The mount I used is the same design MStud sells. Mine is a different brand and I do not use it anymore as I have a mount on my CBI rear bumper. It's for sale but I'm not sure how much shipping would be to CT.
