cb radios antennas and mounting

wanting some ideas/suggestions on cb mounting locations and antenna mounting locations as well. would mounting a cb antenna on the same side as the radio antenna cause static? I only ask because my runner was wrecked at one time and the gap between the fender and hood on the driver side is a little tight. also what kind of antennas are you guys running? ive always used firestiks but thinking of changing to something else. I have a 99 with the dual ac ports and somewhat limited area to place it without it being in the way

I stuck mine right on the passenger side rear of the truck. Remove the plastic panel on the inside and it's easy enough to drill holes and mount your antenna. That's about as far as I could route with 18 ft of cable.

If I could do it again I would get a 25+ ft cable and rout it to the liftgate...if you put it just south of the window it should clear the roof when opening it.
