CBI CB Antenna Bracket

How many of you guys are running this bracket? I've found a couple posts where people have em, but not too much info. Here's what I'm hoping to get from y'all who have it:

1) Got pics of how it mounts up? I've got the general idea, but I'm not 100%, and the CBI website only has one picture of the bracket.
2) Where did you route the antenna through the firewall?

There is a spare hole on the firewall grommet on the drivers side near the brake master cylinder. I ran a 2 wire 10awg which was a bit tough, but it would be perfect for a coax cable.

I am running one as well. it mounts to the hood hinge mount that is attached to the body. Gotta remove some of the fender bolts to get to it.

I'm sure it is recommended that you remove the fender for installation but I got away with just the top bolts removed.

Run the wire across the engine bay and into the grommet with the main harness.

Sounds like exactly what I want, thanks! My 3' Firestik will probably be a bit long for that mounting location, but it'll do for now. What length antenna are you guys running with this mount? Probably 2'?

I have that bracket as well. I actually chopped the mounting hole off, and drilled a new hole so it doesn't stick out as far. I run a 3' antenna and it's great. A buddy of mine has a 2' antenna with the same bracket, and his range is quite a bit less.

Does anyone know if the CBI Antenna Bracket is identical to the CBI Ditch light bracket but sold as a single bracket?

I like how the CBI ditch brackets attach to the fender and not the hood so the they don't move when the hood is opened. Going by the pictures on CBI's website the antenna and ditch brackets look slightly different for the 4th gen.
