I'm personally looking for a new front bumper and refuse to purchase from Shrockworks despite the great product they have. The sore reason is there business ethic.

If I wasn't moving.... my truck would be there already. Is anyone near Idaho Falls, ID that would consider it?

That bumper looks great. I would volunteer but then I google-mapped it and it's 12 hours 45 minutes away (I'm just outside Seattle) and I don't have any planned trips that way at the moment otherwise I'd totally be down. I thought I saw a member or 2 on here in MT hopefully they see this and maybe go hit it up for us. I do like that bumper though. If I do get a wild hair to go out there (it's been known to happen) I'll PM you.

FYI - I spoke with Nathan at CBI late last week, and he says their line of 5th gen front and rear bumpers will be available in the spring. I may end up going this route, as their shop is substantially closer to me than Shrockworks - still a 14 hour drive, but it's close enough.

I have friends with 3rd gen CBI rear bumpers and one with a Tacoma front bumper. Definitely high quality work. Hmm, 10 and a half hours away... think I might be taking a drive to Idaho Falls this spring.

This one looks pretty good, and the first I have seen on a 5th gen (I would lose the top hoop). I just have to use a microscope on the pics, have any bigger or more detailed pic's? It is not on their website, what is the price and how long is the wait time?

Yes, you are correct and that goes for most other makes and models as well. It is a lot easier and cheaper for someone to make those square cardboard looking plate bumpers that the masses seem to drool over. Why ? I will never understand....

Thanks for the tip. I am doing a lot of other projects right now and don't 100% "need" a bumper at the moment. I am just hoping someone has one that I like, at a reasonable price, and no ridiculous wait/lead times when I do "need" one. If not, I will just build my own again. I have all the tools welder/bender, but am just slim on time and the older I get the less I want to do.... :sleepy:

I remember when he posted those like 3 years ago lol. It was like a 1 off type deal, I know TOY2G just bought one, but I think he's had other rocktek bumpers for his 4th gens.

I have had rocktek bumper on
1980 Hilux
2004 T4R Limited
2003 T4R SR5
2000 Tacoma
1986 T4R
And now one will be on my 2013

He is making two right now. one for me and one for GD2013.

he had a jig for them but they were avail for about a year without a single order after he built the one for Tims (t4cruiser) I had to beg him to make them again I told him I would sell them in my site if he did..

he is doing a run as we speak so if you want one speak now...

FYI I emailed Tim to see if we can get larger pics. I do not think he owns it any more @t4cruiser
