Cd Changer On 4 Runner

I recently got a 2003 4runner limited edition.

I can read in the stereo system the words "CD changer control". The fact is that the audio system only have one "mouth" for to feed the discs, but somebody told me that this player is cappable to get inside up to 6 cd's. I was reviewing the Toyota web site and as standard equipment is included an AM/FM in dash 6 cd player. There is no info about operation of the cd player in this site, even in the owner manual comes with the truck.

Anyone know what means "in dash 6 cd player"?

The audio system have 6 buttons row for FM and AM memory stations, but in some of these you can read also the words "up disc, down disc, scan " etc.

There is anybody can bring a bit of light?

First check to see if your radio has a "LOAD" button on the top right corner. If it does, then you do have the in-dash CD changer. The 6-disc system also has RDS, TRAF and TYPE buttons on it.

If you have it, use the "LOAD" button to put in 6 discs. If you press it once, you'll be able to load one disc into the current slot, then press "Disc Up" and press "LOAD" again to load a second disc and so on. Make sure the display reads "LOAD" before you put in a CD. You can also press and hold the "LOAD" button until you hear a beep and then load all 6 discs into the machine one at a time.

This should all be in the owner's manual. If you have the same 2003 manual as me, then it should be on page 180 under "LOAD".

I did check my car radio and I afraid there is not such buttons.

In the up right corner is just the infrared sensor for remote control.

My happiness lasted the same as a cockroach in a hen house.

I really thought my radio have a CD changer inside and I didn't realize it 'till yesterday.

Where you use to get stuff for your SUV?
