CD/MP3 Player Upgrade Question ....

Hi Everyone;

What an informative forum .. I'm glad I found it.

I bought my 2004 4Runner Sport Edition last March and I'm loving it.

I just purchased a Scion 2005 CD/MP3 Player and want to install it.

My 4Runner Sport Package includes:

1. Premium JBL Audio CD Cassette
2. Steering Wheel Audio Controls
3. 10 Speakers
4. Wireless Headphones

My Questions:

Will the Scion 2005 CD/MP3 Player work with the Premium 10 Speaker Package, Steering Wheel Audio Controls, and Wireless Headphones?

Or did I make a mistake in buying the Scion 2005? Is there a way to hook it up so I can make use of #2, 3, and 4?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Not what I wanted to hear .....

But I got my answer from a few people through Private Messaging.

The answer, in case anyone else needs to know, is the Scion HU will NOT work with the upgraded JBL systems.

I'm sure someone on this forum will be happy to take that Scion HU off your hands for a decent price.

No doubt .. I have already received a few Private Messages asking to buy it. However, I have a co-worker who is interested in taking it off my hands so we'll see.

If he doesn't want it, I'll be selling a 2005 Scion Head Unit that is only 2 weeks old and in Mint condition.

I should know within a week or two if those that are interested.
