CD Player Issues

So, the stock 94 cd player is giving me some slack as of now. Its the one with tape/cd/radio. It'l play tapes and he radio fine, but when i put any cd in there, it just spits it out. 25% of the time it will play, but then spit it out. CD's aren't damaged at all. Maybe its time for a new stereo? If so, recommend some cheapos?

Lately, I've been buying a my audio equipment from Crutchfiled. They will hook you up with a connector adapter and the right sized mounting accessories and an installation guide specific to your car. There maybe other companies that are doing this now too. I don't buy car stereo too often, so I don't know.

I have fairly reasonably inexpensive JVC AM/FM/CD in dash units in several of my trucks.
Really good bang for the buck, able to drown out the tire noise and then some.
