CD player on my 99

So my new 99 says "compact disc player" on the factory stereo but I can't find it, my 98 has a factory CD player at the top of the stereo but the 99 doesn't have that, instead the stereo sits slightly higher in the dash and there is a small storage area at the bottom under the stereo. I'm guessing this 99 doesn't have one....

Post a pic of it. The only thing I can think of is that there's a CD changer in there, but I don't think they offered one in the 3rd gens.

My old 96had a 3 disc changer that had like a cartridge thing...maybe the cartridge is missing?

My '99 came new with a cassette/AM/FM HU. Of course, it was gone before the end of the first afternoon. You don't want a 14 year old CD player anyway--the laser is probably toast by now and it for sure won't read burnt discs.

There was an optional single din size cd player that sat right underneath it in place of the storage pocket.
Some ha the option of a 3 disc in dash changer depending on the radio.

And here's my new 99 I picked up 2 weeks ago, running boards are coming off as soon as this weather breaks, wheels will be black soon too.
