CDL Blinking Death Light

Well looks like I'm in trouble for not exercising my 4wd....

I accidentally hit my CDL last night and it is just blinking, not going solid or turning off. So am I okay driving it the shop?

Also, I had my transfer case resealed over the summer, 4wd worked fine prior to that. Could something have gotten messed up when they put the case back together??

How were you trying to engage it? Mine gets a bit stuck sometimes and you have to roll it in Drive a bit to get it to lock/unlock completely.

When I accidentaly hit it, I was going about 25mph. I tried multiple times backing up, pushing it again, putting it in neutral hitting it, etc and it wouldn't stop flashing. Went out this morning and it's still flashing after sitting all night.

I can't feel that anything is engaged at all. I plan to just let it sit in the driveway and take it to the shop Monday...unless it magically stops flashing. But then again, since it hasn't engaged I think I have a bigger problem on my hands.

One other question, should the button light up to indicate it's on/off?
