CEL P0446 on 2006 V8 Sport

Hello,

I recently had CEL on my 06 V8 Sport. Here is what I had on my service invoice.

INSTALL SOP TANK VENT CANISTER
CODE P0446 INTERNAL MALFUNCTION OF CHARCOAL CANISTER.

PART NUMBER: 77706-35020
DESCRIPTION: FILTER SUB-ASSY.

Is this on the TSB?
This was under warranty so I did not have to pay.
Anyone experience this on your truck?

Interesting... P0446 isn't in the V8 book!

There's a TSB for the pump inside the charcoal canister, which requires replacement of the whole canister to fix. There are 5 DTC codes that all pop up when this is the problem. The TSB is EG040-06.

I don't see a TSB that's directly on point here.

Glad they took care of it without any hassle. Thanks for the post... we'll have to keep this one in mind.
