Center console latch part number

Here's a tough one. On the center console, under the lid/armrest, there's a latch that you have to pull to open before you can lift open the lid.

Inside that latch, there's small, thin, rectangular plate that is slightly bent to keep pressure on that latch.

Mine broke.... and I can't seem to figure out what that part number is to replace it.

I've been checking this site for the part number, but the diagram doesn't seem to match the model year. 2006 TOYOTA 4RUNNER Parts - Conicelli Parts Center

Any ideas?

Hmmm, the diagram isn't very clear, but I think that may be it! I'm gonna see if a dealer has it in stock so I can see it in person before I buy it.

This looks about right. I just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. I just took mine off and brought it in to the dealership. It was around $10 out the door.

Glad I found this thread. My latch broke too and found the replacement on Amazon.
