Center Hub

So I bought some 17x9 Stealth Custom Series F5’s in July and finally made time to go and get them mounted and balanced. Made an appointment at OK4WD today and they tell me that the F5’s don’t fit because my Center hub is bigger than the hole in the wheel. They said they measured my Center hub and it was 107 mm and my F5’s are 106.1 mm.

I was under the impression that all 4runners had 106 mm Center hubs. Mine is a 2016. So the F5’s should fit perfectly. Another thing is that I currently have the stealth customs series SR8s on my 4Runner which should have a 106.1 mm Center hole also and they fit on my 4Runner just fine.

So I am confused. Is Ok4Wd wrong or did my original tire shop just force the sr8s onto the Center hub. Toyota has also serviced my car and rotated my tires with the sr8s on and they never said anything about the wheels not fitting? I figured the dealership would mention something like that.

Needless to say, I am very annoyed and don’t know what to do. Should I take it to Toyota to have the F5’s balanced and mounted and see what they say? I love these wheels and have been waiting so long for them. Also could my truck actually have irregular Center hubs and they really measure in at 107 mm? I find that very hard to believe. But if that’s the case, what could I possibly do?

Thank you for the response and the link. I think you’re right and ok4wd was mistaken. I’m going to take the wheels to Toyota tomorrow to have them mounted to see if they say anything about the figment.
