That's why I was thinking Cline Butte again, the rocks aren't too horrible and there isn't that many tight spots for pin striping. At least the sections I went on last time.

Holy excrement, I just realized you were in Bend. We have talked several times before (when I was working on my Tundra) and it never sunk in. I grew up in Madras and our ranch is at Smith Rocks. Bend has changed so much over the years.
As far as wheeling, have you guy been to the quick silver mines by Haystack Reservoir?

Uh, I'm not sure to be honest... I've been pretty wiped all week since I finished the 4Runner last Saturday... Maybe? It's supposed to rain Sunday and Monday.
The first one is always the toughest, doesn't look to bad though. Glad you had fun!
I'm not interested in making the fiasco at Edison a regular thing. lol

Problem is, have to take a standard nut and cut groves in them for the cotter pin for them. The BJ stud isn't long enough for extra metal piece on the gusset above the spindle. I had to make one when I had the SPC.

I usually do my own wrenching, but the KDSS has me concerned. And it appears that if Toyota does the work, the warranty is intact.
At the moment, I'm torn. I don't want to go up too high, so I think may just level it out. Thinking going up one size tire!
I THINK I'd like something like the Bilstein set @ first stop.

Tomorrow I am taking my kid to bust some clays @ Bend Trap near Millican. Is Chesley's on the Millican OHV area? That might work, since he also wants to learn to do a little wheeling.

Yup, kinda, its south of Millican. South of Pine Mountain.
It is a 53 mile loop with some parts easy, hard and difficult trail.
Maybe rough in a stock 4runner clearance wise.
Looks like maybe bypass areas in the difficult zones.

The more I look the more damage I find from that first Edison Butte run.
My front skid looks like your picture from Cline, looked like the front diff took a hit but is OK.
Hit the muffler, the passenger rear lower trailing arm and the front frame mount (looks slightly bent/twisted) and dinged the center xmember.
Thinking I missed the armor group buy I better get in on this RCI Thanksgiving sale.

No armor, no lift yet! Sliders are in the mail, lift has been odd, the lady at the dealership has disappeared on me.
As for timing I am going to attempt to awaken kid around 10. Wish me luck.
Hmmm. That lenght may be more than I want to bite off today - I've been waiting for the lift for the new tires. After a trip to the Mtn on Friday, I've learned that as bad as they are off the road, they are worse in snow.
Let me see if I can wake him up and I'll get back at you
