Do you think the awning will work with previous gen of the tent?

If it's the awning I think he's talking about, then yes it will work with all tents new and old.

I have a different RTT, but it's a hard shell as well, very similiar to these Chandlers. I hated having a moonroof on my 4runner until I had to install the RTT on the Echotechne roof rack. Without the moonroof I think it would've been impossible to access the front mounting bolts. The rear bolts for mounting the RTT can be accessed by removing the rear plate of the roof rack. If you don't have a moonroof, it will be hard if not impossible to get an RTT married to your roof rack.

Same deal with early gobi racks that do not have removable cross bars like the new ones. Only way we could reach the front was through the moonroof

I think that's how it's going to have to work with the Prinsu. Either remove the bars, or go from the moon roof & mount the rear on the 2nd to last bar. I think I can get my hand in there if I remove that last single bar.

(Also I got new awning mounts, double the gauge in steel lol, won't need to be shifted over and the tent can be in the center!)

Yeah I can almost guarantee your sunroof will be covered, you will have to reach out to ninjaexplosion if you want more pictures

This one is hard to answer because of so many variables but I’ll do my best. So assuming whenever the number of people is reached in a perfect timeline of events the whole process should only take about 1.5-2mo, but I’ve been proven multiple times that stuff comes up that only adds more time. I hope that helps
