No extra hardware needed, everything will come in a baggy.
If you have a sunroof, this is what I did:
-Get a helping hand to help get the tent up there. Easiest way for me was to lay the tent down on the ground on either side of your vehicle. Have the nose pointing the vehicle. Have one person lift the nose and basically set it on the lip of the rack. Then both of you push from the bottom and get it up and over.
-Now I'm missing the 2nd crossbar, the one that goes right over the sun roof. This will make installation 100% easier.
-Get the tent positioned to where you want, make sure it's not too far back to where your hatch could potentially hit it.
-With your helper still there, you're going to slide the hardware in the channels, I used the 3rd cross bar, nearest to the sunroof and the bar before the 1x1 bar in the rear.
-With the sunroof open, I was able to thread the nuts, it's a tight squeeze, tighten the inner bolts first, use a self ratcheting 13mm. This process took me a little over an hour.
-If you don't want to deal with having to fish your hands in the tight space, you can always measure the distance between bars, mount the bars to the tent before you put it up onto the rack.

No problem! No sunroof, I'm guessing you can always take off the front wind fairing bar, use that second cross bar as a mounting point instead of the third. Not sure if that route would make it worse to get some hands in there for the back though. But if you don't have an awning, the measuring route is the easiest way to go.

Chandlerdoom, or those in the know, I am curious how it is mounting to a Gobi rack with the non-removable crossbars. Without too much pain and suffering, can you get your hands in there to get the bolts threaded?

Do you have a sun roof? If so, the easiest way is to mount it near the bars closest to the sun roof. The rears are a little tricky, get someone with small hands/forearms to help you lol. Just make sure they have a steady foot on whatever they're standing on, almost broke my arms off cause I lost my footing. Self ratcheting 13mm is what you'll need.
If you don't have a sun roof, mounting it directly to the gobi is going to be tough. Either get yourself the Gobi adjustable cross bars, see a couple posts above about measuring the distance between bars.

If I remember correctly the only issue I foresee is depending on where you mount those crossbars, the hardware that comes with the tent might be too long. So if you plan on mounting them in between the stock bar locations on the gobi rack, where that grated part is, might have to get shorter bolts, but that can be easily found at a local hardware store.

The wedge is the same price as the regular popup, $1700 to your door.
Specs are -Aprox 84L x 50W
I'm about to head out of town, this is the only picture I have at the moment, I'll get more when I get back next week. The inside is near identical to the popup, except you don't get the quilted headliner or hooks. A long strut is on both sides of the tent, inside comes with the same high quality mattress. There is pockets for things on both sides of the tent as well. Since owning mine, I've added a 3 inch memory foam topper and led lighting. I'll get pics of those later.

Hey guys, anyone who has picked one of the black one of these up notice alot of extra heat?
I definitely like the look of the black, however I'm worried the color is gonna turn it to an oven in there and has me leaning towards a white. Anyone got any input to help lean me either way?

i have a different hardshell tent, but also black fiberglass.
doesn't make it an oven at all. plus with my tent and this one as well, there is plenty of ventilation for a hot day/night.

I dont think it turns into an oven but I also dont spend time in the tent outside of the night when the sun is down. Personally if you like how the black looks then I would get the black

I must have walked over the list on the OP by accident. The list is kind of a toss up at this point, its really only needed to see how many people are "on board" but with people from different platforms its hard to track. So for now on I will update the threads with how many more orders are needed, and when the shipment is booked since I can receive orders through the site at any time.
