Yahoo email accounts hacked - chicagotribune.com

Yahoo acknowledged late Thursday that its email service has been compromised by a "coordinated effort" to gain usernames and passwords to Yahoo Mail accounts.

It's nice to know Yahoo didn't tell everyone or announce it on their homepage. :doh:

It was pretty obvious to me they had been compromised. They sent me about 5 password change messages over the past week. My Yahoo is only used for forums so hackers wouldn't get any credit info any way. I was forced to use a much longer password that I probably will forget since I changed it 5 times.
