Hello,
Firstly I apologize, I know this is probably a topic that gets brought up a lot. I did a search though and didn't find much that relates to my truck, or it's clutch issues.
So the problem is that my clutch is now almost in-drive able. When in gear, the rpm's will climb. But with little to no actual power being put to the ground. Basically in 3-5 I am just high revving my engine and getting nowhere. Since my truck has 260+ k on it and what I can only assume to be the original clutch. It's probably past it's life time. So this week I am buying a centerforce clutch to replace it. But my question: how many other pieces should I anticipate will need replacing? I am receiving mixed opinions about whether my slave cylinder will need to go as well as the master cylinder. Throwout/pilot bearing? If I am going to pull the transmission I want it done right, just trying to achieve that goal.
Any advice, opinions, voices of experience welcome
Thanks again everyone
