UPDATED******

Good Afternoon members!

I have a bit of maintenance I wish to accomplish. I would like to use the knowledge and expertise of our members for my project.

My goal is to complete a "everything fluid change/flush" and minor part replacements

I replaced my timing belt and water pump at 90K miles, now I am going to change my Serpentine belt since it seems to be chirping on wet/damp mornings and days.

I was choosing Amazon.com due to my location and ease of purchase. If anyone has opinions feel free to voice them include ideas, options and hints as I intend to complete this over a weekend.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I recommend for the ATF you stick with Toyotas WS ATF fluid. I believe you can buy it on amazon but I don't completely remember

Use Toyota WS fluid for the tranny if the manual calls it out. Nothing but Super Long Life coolant or Zerez Asian formula. No Prestone.

I used Valvoline Maxlife ATF in my tranny for a ~$80 savings; this summer we towed a ~4200lb camper from Denver to Seattle and back with no issues. Also I could have sworn the SLLC coolant was pink. Other than that your list looks good.

Me too in both of my t4rs with good results.

That's the wrong SLLC, the Blue stuff is for the FRS (it's a Subaru spec coolant)

You want the Pink SLLC, what the difference is I don't quite know at the moment; but the FRS does NOT take Pink SLLC and Toyota went through the trouble of making the Blue SLLC so there must be an incompatibility/big enough difference between the two beside colour to warrant it.

Thanks everyone, I have completed more updates to the list. So far, I feel I have the correct quantities and type required for the job I intend to do.

Does anyone else have some input for me or even tips when doing this (i hope to do in one weekend)

You should add 5 more quarts of 75w 90 for your transfer case and rear diff. Its on sale for $8.24 right now on amazon. I just got 6 of them myself

Sad news for me, Amazon doesnt ship most of the products to APO (hazmat). When I return to the united states in a few months I will re attack this

you should be able to get it in your location. shipping it international will not be a good idea.

What base? I was in K-town for a long time, and vogelweh has all the fluids you need at the auto shop near the vogelweh bx/px. If your in Spangdahlem area they have the same thing... It's tax free and easy to get and if they don't have it they will order it.

Enjoy Germany you will miss the ever loving shit out if it man!

My avatar is actually my old 4Runner And the pic is in Germany near Trier:)

I have a shitload if buddies over there still and alotnif good car/truck connections as well.

As for the Toyota ws tranny fluid I never had to buy it but VAT form and local Toyota dealer will have it, the auto hobby shops will walk you through the process to flush using your punk as well and not thier machine if you specify and FYI that's the only way you should do it...
