Your pictures have given me some great ideas. Thanks. Your mounting base is an after market adaptation of the traditional mounting method. I am getting some aluminum channel and pop riveting the mounting base to it much like yours. Again thanks. Tonight is my Friday, so I have the next 3 days to work on it, and get some pictures.
