Check Engine and VSC off lights -2003 T4R

My check engine and VSC off lights popped on 3 days ago, shortly after, the engine was hesitating at red lights, like it was going to stall out. I've had all of the O2 sensors replaced, yep...ALL of them, so I wasn't sure what it could be, usually blown O2 sensors will cause this. Decided to make an appointment to have the dealer look at it since it could be a number of issues that could cause those lights to come. Then driving home from work today, the lights just went off. Does anyone know why the lights would come off? My experience with those lights is that once they are on they have to be re-set by the dealer to get them off.

Thanks for the info. Interesting....so there could still be an issue and the lights may come back on.

possibly, but it could have been a simple "hiccup" in the system. Its more than likely a beginning sign of an issue that will start to be more and more frequent as time goes by.

Next time a light turns on make a quick trip to a local auto parts store. Most parts store will scan a vehicle for free in hopes that you will buy the parts needed to fix your vehicle at their store. if you go to a dealership, there is a good chance they will charge you to have a tech walk up to your vehicle and plug in a scan tool (granted that dealerships have a more complex and in depth scan tool) to pull the codes. There is a good chance a generic scan tools at parts store are going to pull the code without a problem. but then there are a few times you would need to go to the dealership. so i guess what im getting at is that you should go to the parts store before you head to the dealership.
