Third generation 4Runner 2000 Limited 3.4L (5VZ-FE) engine, automatic. Throwing engine codes P0171 System too lean (bank 1) and P0136 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1). Vehicle will not pass inspection. I cleaned the MAF sensor and reset the engine code but returned in 4 days. Is the cause the O2 sensor prior to the catalytic convertor? Vehicle is not California emissions. What would be the correct Denso part number? Can I replace the sensor myself? Any help would be well appreciated.
