Yes, and it begs the question. Is a new trail or TRD 4Runner as good or better than 7 year old Land Cruiser?
That LC is really good looking too.

That's a pretty good deal for a low milage 200. Yeah it's 7 years old, but the build quality is definitely better there than the 4runner. I'm personally starting to lean towards a 200 instead of a 4runner due to that and I really like that engine.:decision:

The 2008-2011 LC 200 is probably my least favorite Land Cruiser ever because they look so bland, IMO. The front end with no projectors and side flanks with no trim just made it look like an oversize 2nd gen Highlander. However, this is only my opinion on the looks and a LC of any year is an incredible vehicle.

With that said, I'd never buy one in gold...

All depends on what your vehicle is for, and what you're willing to pay for that purpose.

If some of the purpose has to do with what you are "seen in" (eg M-B, BMW, LR, et al) then you'll pay to play, and the LC 200 certainly is of that ilk.

Me? My criteria is function, reliability, decent looks, practicality, longevity. A 7 YO LC does none of that as well as a new 4R. I'll not be traversing the Serengeti - ever -

Now, would I like love to have that motor? Yes, yes I would. I've done two long road trips since January (4200 mi and 3500 mi) and I do NOT like this cruise control or V6 in hills/mountains. But, trade offs.

I agree that the "soft" Highlander-esque front and gold seem a little at odds with the wheels and tread...but maybe that's part of the appeal?
