That's some awesome install work! Any pics of the sub enclosure in the rear passenger compartment?

I have plans to do something very similar.

Everything looks clean, you are very talented when in comes to that sort of thing, but you must be a small dude in order to be wiling to take away that much leg room while driving. I have long legs and need to stretch out.

The loss of leg room has me ready to scrap the kicks for a smaller speaker in the kicks... If it was not a 5 speed I would have plenty of room to put my foot where the clutch pedal is.... but alas the clutch keeps my left foot occupied for now... Im 6'3" but I have modified seats to go back 3 more inches...

Good call with modifying the seat. I've often thought about doing that. Did you adjust it on the tracks or drill new holes?

the seat modification was pretty easy... if you have fab skills.

Take the seat out of the car and turn it upside down on your work bench. Take a 5/8 drill bit and drill out the spot welds as well as the rivits on each foot so that the feet come off of the seat rails.

Bolt the feet back into the car and take a piece of angle iron that is longer than the seat rails by as far as you want the seat to go back. Weld the angle to the feet.

Remove the feet and drill out the hole that is left in the seat rail where the rivet was larger so you can bolt it to the angle iron and you are done...

If you were in chicago I would do it for you for a 12 pack! And a set of carbid drill bits....

yes, 285-70/17 on FJ wheels. Love the stance and the ride.

I have tried most brands of tires on my trucks, These are by far the quietest MT style tire I have ever had. They are quieter than my Terrragrapplers, BFG AT's and Toyo MT's as well as Toyo AT's Fire Stone AT's and MT's

This past weekend they ruled on sand, gravel, Mud, Rock, and hard pack.

I am totally sold. if they last even with in 20% of these other tires this will be the last tire I will ever have to shop for.... EVER!

What did you do with the Alpine head unit(s) and why is this one an improvement?

Btw, you clearly have MAD audio & interior skills. We have an audio and electronics section as well. I am sure your advice would be welcome.

The wheels look great, although I do wonder about the rubbing.

Since this truck is now sold.... Moving on and this equipment is making its way into a tundra!
