Choosing tires ...down to 2 ..which 1 ?

I drive about 2 hrs to the Deer Cabin & hunt then that or closer to fish. I am down to a General Grabber A/T or a Nexxen Roadian MT . Rig will have a Winch for as needed times . Just Takin Votes on the A/T or a FULL BLOWN MUD TIRE .

I think mud tires "look" tougher... but if you have a winch you can hit the trails with street tires and not worry too much about getting stranded.

If you're seeing freeway miles then light mud, I'd go for the General Grabbers between those two.

Is anybody runnin the Nexen Roadian MT's ? Can only find a few Reviews but show good HWY Traction wet or Dry & not A lot of Road noise .......235/75/15's for $112 ea. Find the Nexen Roadian MT Tire LT235/75R15/6 for less at Walmart.com. Save money. Live better.

I would also go with the General Grabbers. Like an above poster mentioned, you have a winch, so you don't need to rely on your tires as much. And then when you hit the pavement, your MPGs aren't sacrificed.

Since you are getting new tires, have you considered going up a size or two? 30x9.5s fit easily and 31x10.5s do as well with no lift. Going bigger than these require 'adjustments' to fit the tires without rubbing and no lift.

Will be adding a R C 3 " lift later with new Leafs , the 235/75/15 are ok . I do not want to kill the Pwr of the 22r ,Maybe some 30x 9.5 would be ok just do not want to drain that lil 22r , A lot big hills on the way to the Deer woods.

Well I quit Readin after findin at least 5 Reviews of the Sidewalls splittin on the Federal Couragia M T's . I will be goin 235/75/15 Grabbers ,a lot of People are Getting 70k out of em with Good Results in Snow, Sand & Snow ,:tea:

I have the Grabber AT2's on my wife's Outback in 215/65/16, makes the little Subie quite unstoppable and barely louder than the Yoko TRZ's before them.

I currently am running the nexen mt 31/10.5/r15. They are lasting a lot longer than expected. Have about 40k on them with lots of tread left. I have abused the crap out of them and they have not failed me. They are pretty noisy on the highway, as is any MT tire. Traction is good on them but I would personally sipe the inside lugs if you use them in the snow.

Nexen Tires are junk. I think you'll fair much better with the Generals.
