I actually had the exhaust cut of just in front of the resonator and had the exhaust turned out, with a tip welded on. I can stand the way the stock pipe just sticks straight out.

I got the idea from and did the same as momo.75.

Over the weekend I noticed just how sad the stock exhuast tip looked.

Anyone put a after amrket tip on? Can you suggest a model brand.

Super Walmart has a SS aftermarket brand tip that looks similar to and its size almost identical with the VALOR but it only cost $12.xx. Oh! The outer is ANGLE cut with rolled edge that made it look more unique than VALOR. Also, you can find an OVAL shape SS exhaust tip at Pep Boy, but this baby cost over $30. It's your money, so make your own call buddy.

If I had not already bought the Valor tip, I would have done the Magnaflow tip. The Magnaflow tip looks far better IMHO (less ghetto and more OEM-like than the Valor.)

But even the Valor looks better than nothing.

I here ya talking X6RUNNER!! I purchased that same SS tip from Wally-world back in July 2004. I believe it is listed as a Resonator and the outer SS is thicker than the Valor tip you get from Toyota. Anyways, the inside meshed steel rusted but the SS on the outside is still s-h-i-n-y!! Whenever I polish my rims, I remember to do the SS exhaust tip also.

Saving money these days means more gas in my tank. That's a no brainer--:bash:
