Debating on whether I should dip the chrome emblems. They should've done it from the factory to match the rest of the emblems. Didn't make much sense to me.
Not sure how you feel about it, but I would just debadge it personally.

The Runner kind of looks like it has a bad mustache when it is debadged on the rear, dipping looks much better

Nice vehicles. both of them. I agree with the Rigid lights as well, great choice.

Can't wait to see all the light bars installed. A truck of this caliber deserves quality lighting, not cheap knock offs (let the flaming begin :lalala: ), like you said, you get what you pay for!

It depends. Some build threads are just that: I added this widget, floor mats and plastidip. They go away never to return. Some are build and trip threads where you discuss what you did and how it worked on certain trips. The last is a build and adventure thread. This is my favorite because the build is almost secondary to the journeys they take. They include lots of descriptions and photos of beautiful scenery and interesting things along the way.
Im sure you have heard that it's not about the destination it's about the journey. With a 4Runner, even bone stock, imagined journeys now become possible.
There are many many build threads here, some good and some not so good. The thing that sets them apart is where they go. Go look up [MENTION=66300]Intruder[/MENTION] or [MENTION=89562]bimrunner[/MENTION] build threads. Jacob Blick has an amazing thread. Many others are great too and some are just adventure threads. [MENTION=74569]SOcalTRAIL[/MENTION] is another great one.
Just look around a bit and you will find what works for you.

Just about to order the Optimum Gloss Coat for mine enough to dothe fehicle and wheels. Still trying to decide wether or not to treat the windows with another product. Going to try to keep it looking as nice as possible for as long as possible with minimum effort. I always love how a vehicle looks after it is detailed. The Inferno color is very interesting so many different shades depending on the lighting that is why I like it.

IMO I would try for the inferno on your badges 1st , black will look 2nd best ! I'm not a chrome guy so..... it is a beautiful color & from what I've seen up close in different light it jumps around . You'll get used to everyone's peculiar ways on replies , take with grain of !! ^
My personal preference is to update by replying. It gives someone a step by step progression as to how you got where you are.
