cigarette lighter fix 1994 4 runner

Can anyone help ?
My cigarette lighter on my 1994 4runner quite working
Fuse OK -appears I need to get to back of lighter to repair.
can anyone tell me how to do-appears much of plastic dash needs to be removed?

Pull bottom most part of center console. See if you can track wiring to outlet. Once located check for continuity.

Thank you I will do .
In case the lighter needs replacing do you know how to
remove the plastic dash trim to gain access to back of lighter.
I fear without proper instructions I will crack or break plastic.
