Cincinnati Newb - What would you have bought now that you own a 5th gen?

The wife and I are looking to swap around our fleet of vehicles to be more efficient. I currently have a 2010 Infiniti G37x sedan, the wife has a 2013 Honda Accord sport and we also have a 2006 Ford F250 for truck / towing needs.

We've been trying to decide between a Jeep JKU and a 5th Gen certified SR5 Premium. We're heavily leaning towards the 4runner due to the 5k towing capacity as well as the 3rd row seating for our growing family. Not to mention the whole Chrysler reliability just terrifies me.

At the end of the day I'd like to get rid of the F250 and my G37x and replace both with a 5th Gen 4Runner. The wife will then drive the 4Runner and I'll drive the Accord as I now have the longer work commute. We don't truly have to have a truck and the 5k tow rating will be fine for our needs.

Now that you know what you know, what model 5th Gen 4runner would you buy? Since it's available we'd like to have the 3rd row seating. I also want to stay away from the Limited / AWD as we only truly need AWD a few times a year hear in Ohio. I'm really leaning towards SR5 premium with 3rd row seating, sunroof, nav, leather and TRD wheels and eventually do a TRD pro front end. Thoughts?

Or wait for a possible 6th Gen?

The SR5 Premium is nice! I have a buddy that had a 2014 Premium, and loved it. My 5th gen was just a "base" 2015 SR5. Even the base models are pretty loaded up these days, with the only extra option mine had being navigation. I've never really been a big fan of leather, am a single guy with no need for a 3rd row, and could care less about a sunroof, so I passed on the SR5 Premium and saved a little bit of money. The Trail is a pretty cool trim package as well. Has a different set of wheels, a lever style transfer case (the SR5 has a electronic dial), and an electronic locking rear diff. You can get this one in the Premium trim package as well, which will give you the 3rd row seat, leather, a sunroof, etc.

The only other SUV i would own is a manual trans Xterra.

Its very similar to the 4runner, but a few mechanical issues made me stick to the 4runner.

The 4runner is probably one of the best all around multi purpose vehicles on the market.

My only complaint with the 5th gen is that it feels too bulky off road sometimes, but Im coming from a 3rd gen 4runner, if you are used to driving an f250 you should be okay.
