How sure are you on this? You have unlimited carfax access I'm assuming? Ill call his local pd and report it. I'm at home sick and have nothing better to do today anyways. And I cant stand thieves

I'm sure. I have unlimited on license plates for the next 2 months, which I got to replace my total loss 4runner (more on that later)

Yeap, thats what mine was. Replaced front left fender, lights, hood, radiator. Still was worth the purchase. But mine had 180k. This is for sure a scam!

I ran those plates and it looks like there was a total loss in April 2012 in Washington state and a salvage title was issued. Rear end damage in multiple places. Must have been pretty bad to total a car like that with between 20-30K miles. Then the car was retitled 3x in the next 2 months between Washington and Idaho. Literally one 2 weeks in Idaho then 2 weeks in Washington then 2 weeks in Idaho. Each of these times, a salvaged/rebuilt title was issued. Then 2 years later it was retitled again but with no salvage title indicated which Carfax says could be indicative of title washing.
Looks like the miles are accurate but obviously the seller is trying to conceal the total loss/ salvage title. Is this the same guy with the 4runner? I don't know how all this title stuff, mileage rollback and whatever else he 's doing is legal, part of a reconditioning business or something, but he obviously is not being honest in his descriptions. Does definitely smell of a scam somehow.

Edit: It is the same guy. Paul is definitely up to no good out there in Seattle. Jeez, wonder what's up with the boat?! Buyer Beware!!

Maybe someone should shoot him a text and let him know people are on to him.

I did too. Were you able to report it? I called the pd and they told me to call the highway patrol. So I called them, was on hold for ten minutes, so I hung up. I had planned on calling back today but wont if you already reported it?
