Nice, I have disappearing posts...
legitimate question. part of why I'm nervous to go is because I've never done something like this where we stay for awhile etc. I don't know what to bring.
Other than that though, I'd like to have a bit of a lift this time and probably new shocks. I don't have the means to build nice sliders now.

Pisa, you'd be fine. That's a nice truck, capable of doing 99% of the trails down there.
Mike, you're not a camping guy? I can loan you anything you need, and you don't need much. We'll be camping at an RV park, so we'll have showers and laundry and that. I can loan you a little tent and sleeping bag, or you can sleep in the back of your truck with an air mattress and a blanket. If you don't have cooking stuff, you're welcome to throw in with me, they say two eat cheaper than one. We'll probably all be cooking and eating together anyway, camp is only 10 minutes away from the grocery and I think the plan is to play it all by ear anyway.

This is the time to do it. There is never a better time to try something like this when 1) you are with people who know the area 2) they know how to do trail repairs 3) you've got someone who can loan you gear so you are not out extra money for stuff you don't have and 4) they are just simply a bada$$ group to hang out with.
I had never wheeled anything like Moab before last year. My thoughts area as long as you follow the lead when you need to, try a few things that you have a doubt about either your rig or yourself being able to do and trust the experience of others, especially once you get comfortable with someone spotting you, then there is no way you won't have the time of your life.
I'm not going to name any names, but I remember someone not wanting to traverse this off camber hill the first or the second time. That same person is jumping to go and I bet this trail wouldn't even phase him now.
If you want I can send you my packing list. It has camping, emergency and trail items listed out.

Off camber sucks ass. I hate getting tippy, especially when it's a long way down.

I remember that off-camber spot I debated on doing at Snakes... I honestly think I'll feel a bit better about it if I get some lower offset wheels. but if I lift it I'm sure I'll be just as nervous. I just don't know where that angle is yet.

What I got out of that is you need at least 3 rolls of duct tape and multiple rolls of tp. Someone must have forgotten some at some point.
