You have to go, these 2nd gen guys are gonna gang up on me and leave me bleeding in a ditch. Won't the army let you call in sick? :D

Bump!

I got the time off approved....I know late but I'm in. I know I read somewhere in here someone was getting money together to get the campsites. Who is collecting? Also anyone from Cali making the trip and might want to caravan up there?

Woo Hoo! Another 2nd Gen! Now KidV will have another vehicle to tow him out.

Well Kid, the odds may be swinging back in your favor--here's one 2nd Gen whose chances just took a turn for the worse. Darn construction work--I'm out of work much sooner than expected, so the trip is now in jeopardy. The truck is doing good, with it in the shop right now getting my armor welded on, but there isn't enough in the bank to spare for a long trip (especially with the lousy mileage of that V8 coupled to V6 gearing--5.29's are just way too low for that engine on the street). I'm still going to try whatever I can--I REALLY want to go, but I don't know now.

Where's the "don't like" button? :(

Modified:

  • Footofgod (Bill) "S.S. Minnow" 91 T4R, 33's, lifted, armored, rear locker,
  • KidVermicious (Kevin) "Four Squirrels of Fury" 86 T4R, 33s, lifted, armored, rear locker/front LSD
  • Helo + Venom - Doesn't know yet
  • mpleitez

On the fence:
BucknutBob "Abomination" 95 T4R, SAS, 35s, front and rear lockers
GonOver (Nate) 92 on tons with stuff
Ziggs 87 T4R lifted with 30's, front and rear lockers
PittDawg - bone stock, baby!

So, we're hurting to make our 8 person minimum. FoG, you'll be plus one, right? That gives us 6. We've been keeping this on the down-low, but considering the uncertainty over Nate and Bob making it, perhaps we should actually extend an invite to the later gen trucks?

I'm in for sure with a +1 (Al). Venom may not be making the trip with some pretty serious back issues, but another friend is coming for sure.

Also, I'm good with paying the extra to secure the spot even if we don't have the 8. We can always just play dumb about the number we are short when we get there.

Someone missed the bus to school. Does that mean they will be coming to Moab? I'll tow that 1st gen if it will save on gas.

On that note, are we opposed to opening up to the other gens at this point? Looks like we only have 4 or 5 definites and it would be nice to get up to 10.

I'm not opposed to inviting other gens at all at this point. I agree that 8-10 would be a great size for this. One local 3rd gen (THardy) is going to try and make it, but can't commit yet.

And if you have to tie Dude up in your basement and make your slave labor sit on him until mid October, I say do it. I'm gonna cry if he doesn't make it (goes for Bucknut and Nate too, but I don't know anybody near them to kidnap them and force them to come).

Unfortunately, I still won't be able to go. I wasn't planning on going since I was originally going to be in school. I didn't set aside any money for it and there isn't any free money in the budget right now. I want to go but it's just not possible. :happens:

If we can plan a trip for the spring time then I'll definitely be able to go.
