Our 4x4 club is thinking of taking a trip to Moab in 2013, and I'm trying to convince my wife that we need a 2012/13 Tundra so I can tow my 4Runner there. All the great pictures are helping my cause!

Idler Arm has been replaced and the rest of Hell's Revenge has been conquered. Take a look at Mario knocking out Mickey's Bath Tub with at least 45 people watching. Lots of nice Rubicons but no one else would even drop in. We used my rig for a safety strap just in case but is definitely the hero of the trail at the moment.

Bill and the boys are here, tents are up, steaks have been put down our throats and we are loading up for Fins and Things.

You guys all realize this thread is probably making the 4th and 5th Gen guys (with their much newer rigs) giggle at our "wealth" of mechanical issues recently (where their parts are a few years and many trail-rides away from breaking). Oh well, I guess that's the price for being much more willing to take our "classics" far off the beaten track and pound the crap out of them. They'll be dealing with these hassles soon enough, huh!

Ha, that's great! I was getting worried with all the mechanicals people were having. I was ready to suggest a thread title change to "Classics TRY to go to Moab!" But all is well not it seems, keep the pic's coming, awesome!

I've found my guy to cheer for in Mario and his 2nd Gen--those Moab "potholes" are tough! I guess if I can't get my locked SAS 2nd Gen out there, I'll cheer on the one that DID make it. By the way, does anyone know if Nate is still going?

my friend floored it through fins n things in his stock cherokee. Wrecked the fuel tank skid plate and his rear bumper

DAMN though... you got some balls. That would scare the crap out of me I think.

Fins is not incredibly technical, there's really only a couple spots where you have to pick a line. It is some of the steepest slickrock you'll find, though. The climbs are much easier on the nerves than the drops.

A fun one that we did in the rain was Sevenmile Rim TrailDamage.com - Sevenmile Rim When we got to Wipeout Hill, it was dry. This is a fun climb.
Uranium Arch was awesome with the waterfalls.
