Classics go to Moab?

I really want a super cheap first or second gen to not worry about.

How cheap of a 1st Gen are you looking for. I happen to have one in UT right now that I could probably make you a good deal on.

Good spotting and driving, fellas--you made that big drop-off look simple! Is the pickle one obstacle, or a whole section?

Imagine having to CLIMB that spot Mario is coming down in the video! I assume from the shape that that was the Horseshoe? It sounds like it was good that you turned around, or the taller rigs were going to get scraped on top pretty good (the Pickle obstacle).

I definitely couldn't get one until summer hits. I already have three cars now and they're all different so I don't want to get rid of them. Not sure how I'm going to store them though.

Thanks for keeping me from going insane guys. That spotting sure would make me feel safe.

I have never been offroading. shh

Another gorgeous day in Moab! Out to fix Helo's rig first. Then we'll be off to finish Hidden Canyon, Hit Arches National Park for some hiking and finish on Schafer Trail (Potash rd) with the boys!

MP and Helo are packing for home and I wish them all safe travels. Looking forward to the next Classics meet up.

Rig is out. Thanks for the lift FoG!! On the way out I found an HTC cell phone lying in the middle of the trail. Once I got some service I made a quick post on there Facebook page and the couple is headed here to the campground to pick it up now. I always say, keep your personal info safe with a secondary program but leave your phone unlocked. Much easier to locate the owner when it gets lost.

Breaking out the tools again to remove the driveshaft, hook to the Tundra, take in Arches National Park, River Road, head towards Four Corners and bee line back to Houston.

Great trip guys. I had a blast. FoG make sure and let me know each day what trails you are hitting and check by in when you are clear. Want to make sure we can narrow down the search in the event you guys needs some assistance.

BA pics and video to come........gonna take some time though. Holy crap what a scenic place!!!!!!!:wow2:

Pics sent to me from a retired couple out wheeling in a Rubi that we met while out past Kane's Creek. This is right after we got nailed by the hail storm at the top of Hurrah Pass. Once we got to the bottom the wash was making it's way down as well. We should have known something was up with the ~40 people standing there with cameras pointed our way. Worked out well though.

About 300 yards past here is where we stopped to pull out the Saab with FoG's Beast.

I like the comparison of the various heights of the rigs in the water, with Mario's truck riding nice and high out of the water! Nothing like a little extra protection for the airbox and ECU, huh. Looks like you guys will never doubt the seriousness of flash-flood warnings after this trip!

Since everyone ditched me all in alone in Moab, I have a new plan. The boys and I are leaving for Colorado in the morning by way of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. We'll camp over night in Medano Pass and then head back to the Springs Tuesday morning. Overall it adds about 60 miles to the trip and one seriously awesome trail!

I hate you! You're no longer my 4 Runner buddy!

Anyone in the Colorado Springs/Fountain area need a new 4runner buddy? I'll take applications starting immediately.

You must like 4 wheeling and beer.

Get transferred to Hill AFB, I'll show you where we get non-Mormon beer.

I just got In.... Fellas thanks for the invite and great time. Randy post up when you get in so we know your good, you to Bill. Al if you are reading this it was a pleasure and great spotting! Thanks for keeping my rig looking pretty.

Al can't read this right now. I've got him on chauffeur duty driving me through the night to get me home. He said no problem on the spotting. He was really impressed with what your guy's rigs could get through.
