Clean rear dashcam mount

Ok, BlackCamBracket(TM) v1.1 is a thing
Increased the neck height to there’s no need for washers and it has 2.2° of angle so the camera is axially level when mounted.
New hotness on the left. Old-n-busted on the right.

Know this is an older post but it was helpful for me. For those of us that do not have or have access to a 3D printer this might help.
I tried to figure out what I could use as a mount like the gents who created the plastic piece in the clean installs above. Somehow a moment of genius was granted to me.
Glock magazine floor plates make a perfect mount for rear webcams. In this case I used a Glock 3941 (10mm) plate but any double stack floor plate will work. If you don't have any they can be had for $1-$5 on eBay and Amazon.
All I did was drill it out, with three holes close to each other. I then used utility knife to remove the thin pieces to connect the holes. Optional as I'm OCD is I used a small Dremel cone shaped grinder bit to clean up the resulting hole. I used this large hole as the wire feed through

I made a hole about 3/4" in front of the center headliner clip (toward the hatch) , just a very small X with a small utility blade will do it. You can also use the center clip hole if you do not want to do any cuts in your headliner. I made the extra hole so I could use the clip to hold up the headliner, again, OCD.
After feeding the wire through the floor plate, I used an M4 socket head screw, think I used a 12mm length but there is a lot of room above in this spot. I used a small split washer as I screwed it from the plate. Above where it came through the headliner, I used another split washer and a flange screw to tighten it down.
I then used wiped the plate with isopropyl alcohol and peeled the sticker off the rear camera and stuck it on the plate. Looks super clean and is working perfect. Thought I would pass it on.

I am purchasing a 4Runner this month. I have a rear blackvue camera that I need to install. If you are still on here, can you please send the correct file I need to make this. Thank you!
