Clear coat peeling on hood/roof; I need opinions

Man all this clear coat talk makes me grateful I own two 4Runners with single stage paint.

As much as I love the evergreen pearl color, I'm a big fan of the single stage paint as well.

I've read so many horror stories, but I know you can still get talented body guys at these shops. I guess what I'm saying is, is it possible to get a decent paint job, just not likely? It can't hurt to get a quote.

I used to have a place paint cars for me back in the day for $100-$300 a car price range. Biggest thing is the prep work. if we let them prep the car, the paint was usually flaking around the edges pretty quickly, if we pulled all the trim, lights etc, and scuffed everything ourselves it made for a good 10-20ft paint job.
