click noise after shifting to Park

I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2015 TRD PRO and love it! I noticed that when I shift to park, there is a delayed click. Almost like it is engaging into something. I'm guessing that this is normal but wanted to check the forum before I bring it back to the dealer.

What is the parking pawl? Normal for the car?

Yes normal. You are prob parking on a slight incline and the car will roll slightly before the parking pawl engages and you hear the click. Use your parking brake when you park.
