Clicking noise from the rear. It's driving me nuts!!!

So I installed wheels on my truck, same size as stock (15X7) after that I have been hearing a ticking or tinging noise from the rear (almost like something barely touching the wheel as it rotates) but as we all know I have drums in the rear, so no caliper clearance issues. And the sound is only there from about 35 MPH- 65MPH then it's all quiet. The offset is different than stock. So I went through the check list:

Lugs nuts are tight
No play in the wheel bearings
No clearance issues
No rubbing spots
Wheels are balanced
I even adjusted the shoes for good measure.

I've been trying to figure this out but I'm at a loss right now, any help would be appreciated. Maybe this happened with other users? Thanks!

a chipped tooth on the ring gear might do that. Drain the rear diff and look for pieces of metal.. (edit) I should clarify that you should hear it at all speeds..

Rock in your tire? Just kidding...

Mine clicks but I don't really care. It's not loud enough to hear when the engine is running though, only when I troubleshoot the rear axle do I get the scrape/click noise.

U-joint or bearing with a sticky spot?

Have you just lifted it up and spun the wheel? Mine was clicking and pissing me off a week ago. Turns out one of the plastic clips that hold on the center cap on the wheel snapped off and bounced around inside of the center cap. I seriously doubt that's your issue, but maybe you could figure something out by spinning the wheel.

I don't hear it all all speeds, but it's worth a shot.

It's a good guess, but I spun the tire on the lift and didn't hear anything.

That's a good place to look, I'll have to do a bit of a tear down to check.

I did that yes, but I have metal caps so I don't think it's that, and yes that picture definitely describes how I feel haha

if it is "only" at a certain speed range, I would look real hard at the u-joints. Didn't think of that the other day but cashmoney is right. Easy and cheap to replace if it is.. it's 4wd right? you could always remove the rear drive shaft and see if it still makes noise..

Could be rear brakes sticking a bit.

I had a churping noise everytime I would shift up in gears. Turns out, my drive shaft bolts were lose, so the drive shaft would make a churping noise as it would rub against the flange of diff. Red lock tight and some muscle fixed it. Just a thought to look at.

I found the problem by having the truck in PARK, getting under it and moving the truck back and forth. Like rocking it. And narrowed my noise down.
