I’ve got this clicking noise after I towed about 4000 for almost 600 miles and I’m thinking it’s the front cv axle. Here’s the kick, my passenger side cv axle looks bad on inner boot and was gonna replace it but I primarily hear the noise from the driver side.
I’ve recently replaced all control arms, inner and outer tie rods, sway bar links and shocks. My driver side cv “looks” good but no way to be certain. Just wondering it’s about $200 for new ones on both sides which I’m probably due for but I’d like to hold off on that if it’s something either cheaper or another problem entirely. Thanks
